Organize your thoughts, code snippets, drawings, tables, and documents in an infinite tree hierarchy. Built with an offline-first architecture and optional Google Drive cloud synchronization.
CyberNote was created to give students, developers, security researchers, and privacy-conscious writers an intuitive, distraction-free environment to structure complex knowledge without relying on proprietary, locked-in third-party servers.
Unlike traditional note apps that store your personal information on centralized corporate databases, CyberNote functions as a completely autonomous client-side application. All notes, folders, drawings, and passwords stay on your personal device's local encrypted storage (IndexedDB). You have full sovereignty over your information.
Organize nested folders, sub-topics, research papers, and code snippets in an infinite hierarchy with custom node colors and vector icons.
Engineered as a Progressive Web App (PWA). Full access to all your notes and tools on airplane mode or without an active internet connection.
Optional client-side AES-256-GCM encryption with password-derived keys ensures only you can decrypt sensitive personal notes.
By default, all your notes live securely in your browser's local cache. However, if you clear your browser cache, change computers, or lose your phone, locally stored data could be lost. To prevent data loss, CyberNote offers an optional, user-initiated Google Drive Cloud Backup feature.
When you choose to sign in with Google, CyberNote automatically synchronizes your notes directly with your personal Google Drive storage. This ensures your knowledge is safely backed up and accessible across all your devices.
